Membership is open to all persons without distinction of race, creed, sex, caste or colour.
The membership of the Indian Section of the Theosophical Society is composed of :
[i] Members of the Chartered Lodges or Centers or lodges who have not received charters[ii] Members directly attached to the Section Headquarters known as “unattached” members.
Any person of ten years of age and above shall be eligible for membership in the indian Section, but anyone under the age of majority [eighteen years] shall be admitted to membership only with the written consent of his parent or guardian.
Every application for membership in the indian Section, shall be made on an authorized form and duly signed by the applicant. A candidate for admission to the Theosophical Society desiring to be attached to any lodge or Center shall send his application along with the prescribed dues to the general Secretary through the President or Secretary of that Lodge or Center and the Federation Secretary.
